I am 59 years young and the first son of Lonnie and Betty York. My bride of 37 years is Cindy Garlington York and we have three children Jeremy, Matthew, and Jennifer.
I have served as an officer in the Elks Lodge for the past 15 years. I have completed 2 terms as Exalted Ruler of Arlington Lodge 2114, 5 years as a trustee and 4 years as Treasurer of that Lodge. Cindy served as entertainment director during my first ER year and is now active in the social activities committee. We enjoy Friday night dinners and dances at The Lodge and archery shoots on Tuesday evenings.
I have been an Electrical Contractor in Arlington for 30 years and have opperated a lamp and fixture repair shop for 15 years. Last year I started a firearms training school where I give instruction in safety with firearms, Texas Concealed Handgun Laws and marksmanship. We have a small 16-acre farm west of Toto where we have a summerhouse and raise trees. We have a peach orchard, a pecan grove, several redbud trees, and a hybrid crape myrtle that we are propagating. It is quiet out there and a good get away for the weekends. My other hobbies include hunting, fishing, and genealogy my database now holds 3300 people that are related to my children.
Jeremy is now 29 and  has a daughter and stepson he works as an electrician in our company. He enjoys country music and dancing, hunting, fishing and helps with the farm.
Jennifer and Matthew are 25 (twins) and still close to home. Jennifer is a child photographer and recently engaged. She enjoys dancing and often joins us at The Lodge when she is not Working. Matthew is always working, as a computer technician for a major service company...
